At Love CBD Health, we’ve always believed that full-spectrum CBD should mean more than simply containing CBD.
That’s why we were interested to compare the latest independent laboratory results for our 30mg Entourage Capsules with the laboratory results for Supreme CBD’s 30mg Soft Gel Capsules.
Both products contain the advertised CBD strength and both have been independently tested by reputable third-party laboratories.
However, when we looked beyond CBD and examined the wider cannabinoid profiles, we found some significant differences.
Both companies lab reports have been conducted in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 which is the definitive international standard for the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of testing and calibration laboratories worldwide. This evaluates whether a laboratory has the technical capability to produce precise, accurate, and legally defensible data.

What Does “Full Spectrum” Mean?
While there is no single legal definition of “full spectrum,” many consumers and industry experts would expect a full-spectrum product to contain a range of naturally occurring cannabinoids rather than CBD alone.

According to the laboratory report reviewed, Love CBD capsules contained detectable levels of:

According to the laboratory report reviewed and available on the 23rd June 2026, Supreme CBD capsules contained detectable levels of:

Why Does This Matter?
CBD is only one naturally occurring compound found within hemp.
Many consumers specifically choose full-spectrum products because they want access to a wider range of cannabinoids. When fewer cannabinoids are present in a finished extract, the resulting product may contain less of the hemp plant’s original cannabinoid diversity.
Based on the laboratory reports reviewed, the Entourage Capsules demonstrate a broader detectable cannabinoid profile than the Supreme CBD product tested.
How a Broader Cannabinoid Profile May Contribute to the Entourage Effect
Many CBD users are familiar with the concept of the entourage effect.
While research remains ongoing, the theory suggests that cannabinoids may interact differently when present together than when isolated.
We believe that preserving naturally occurring cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC, CBDV and CBN is one of the key characteristics of a quality full-spectrum hemp extract.
The laboratory report reviewed identified a greater number of detectable cannabinoids in the 30mg Entourage Capsules than in the Supreme CBD capsules tested.
The Love CBD Health product showed detectable levels of CBD, CBG, CBC, CBDV, CBN and trace THC.
Supreme CBD Full Spectrum
The Supreme CBD product showed detectable levels of CBD and CBC, with the remaining cannabinoids tested reported as not detected.
In our opinion, a product containing a broader range of naturally occurring cannabinoids more closely aligns with many consumers’ understanding of a full-spectrum hemp product.
Ultimately, consumers should review the laboratory evidence for themselves and decide which cannabinoid profile best matches their personal preferences and expectations from a full-spectrum CBD product.
This comparison is based on specific third-party laboratory reports reviewed by Love CBD Health for the batches tested. Results may vary between batches and products over time. The views expressed regarding full-spectrum characteristics are opinions based on the cannabinoid profiles reported in the respective certificates of analysis.
The Importance of Recent Laboratory Testing
Another difference we noticed when reviewing the certificates was the age of the laboratory reports.
The Love CBD Health certificate of analysis (COA) was issued in June 2026 and is brand new.
The Supreme CBD certificate of analysis (COA) reviewed was issued in June 6th 2025 and is more than one year old at the time of writing.
This does not mean there is anything wrong with either product. However, cannabinoid profiles can vary from batch to batch, and laboratory reports represent a snapshot of a specific production run at a specific point in time.
For that reason, we believe consumers are best served by reviewing the most recent laboratory data available. In our opinion, current testing provides a more relevant picture of the cannabinoid profile they can expect from the product they are purchasing today.
While both reports demonstrate third-party testing, consumers may find more recent laboratory reports useful when assessing current batch characteristics.
Methodology to compare the full-spectrum credentials of Love CBD and Supreme CBD using their lab reports:
1. Document Integrity Validation
- Accreditation: Confirm both testing labs hold valid ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification.
- Sensitivity: Verify the lab’s Limit of Quantitation (LOQ) thresholds for minor compounds.
2. Data Extraction & Metrics
Extract weight percentages (% w/w) for: CBD, CBDA, CBDV, CBG, CBGA, CBN, CBC, Δ⁹-THC, and THCA. Calculate:
- Cannabinoid Diversity Index (CDI): Count the total number of distinct cannabinoids detected above the LOQ.
- Minor Cannabinoid Ratio: Divide the sum of all minor cannabinoids by the total cannabinoid content to measure extract richness.
- Total Active THC: Calculate true potential THC using the formula: THC + (0.877 × THCA).
3. Full-Spectrum Classification
For the purposes of this comparison, we recorded the number of cannabinoids detected above the laboratory’s limit of quantitation and noted whether THC or THCA was detected.
